Sweet Charity is a tender, poignant and consistently funny look at the adventures, or rather the misadventures, in the ways of romance encountered by a lovelorn dance hall hostess. The gullible and guileless lady known as Charity Agnes Valentine always gives her heart, and her earnings, to the wrong man. She dreams of an old-fashioned romance, but only encounters one undeserving man after another. Songs include "Big Spender," "If My Friends Could See Me Now," and "Rhythm of Life."
